某グルメサイトでみつけた高田馬場の人気ナンバー1ラーメン屋さん「渡なべ」が気になったので、今回行ってきました。

このお店は凄く評判が良いので、ずっと前から気になってはいたんですよね。

それで、いつか「渡なべ」の近くを通る機会があれば寄ってみようと思っていて、今月、高田馬場で夜散歩をしている最中にお店を発見したので、中に入って食べました。

外観はラーメン屋さんっぽくないです。落ち着いた雰囲気のお店なので少し構えてしまいました。

まずは高田馬場駅の早稲田口から早稲田通りに出ます。

通りに出たら右へ向きをかえて、そこから早稲田通りを真っ直ぐ歩いていきます。

「渡なべ」は大通りの左側にあるので、早稲田通りの左側を歩くようにしましょう。

徒歩でだいたい8分程度の場所に松屋があります。

松屋に到着したら、今度はその手前を左に曲がります。

曲がって、路地を進むと「渡なべ」に到着します。

夜だとお店の看板が光って目立っているので、すぐに目につきます。夜だと綺麗な外観が際立ちますね。

高田馬場の中でもとくに早稲田通り付近はラーメン激戦区で、その中で一番人気があるラーメン屋さんです。

ラーメンの味は魚介豚骨系で、ラーメンとつけ麺があります。

ここのオーナーさんはラーメンの食べ歩きが趣味らしくて、ツイッターやブログなどでいろんなラーメン屋さんの食べ歩き情報を発信しているみたいです。

お店の内装はカウンターに8席とそこまで広くはありませんが、他のお店に比べて内装が綺麗でオシャレで清潔感があります。ラーメン屋さんというかBARのような落ち着いた雰囲気です。

あと店員さんとお客さんとの距離感が近くなるようなお店の作りなので、常連さんが増えやすそうだと思いました。

実際に私以外にいた3人のお客さんは常連さんでした。3人とも店員さんと会話をしていました。

あと、店員さんに男勝りな美人のおねーさんがいました。

注文は食券機式で、メニューにはラーメン、つけ麺、ご飯、チャーシューご飯がありました。

麺は大盛りや替え玉など注文することができます。

私は、店員さんにラーメンとつけ麺どっちが人気あるのかと質問したら、男勝りな美人のおねーさんがラーメンをおすすめしてきたので、味玉ラーメンを注文しました。

実はラーメンの中で一番嫌いな味が魚介系な私は、豚骨スープと合わさってるとはいえ、あまり味には期待はしていませんでした。

私の目の前に置かれたラーメンを見たその瞬間までは…

わたなべのラーメン

なんとも上品で、美味しそうなラーメン。鰹節の香りが鼻を通って脳に刺激し、「あ、これほんとに美味なやつだ」と瞬間的に悟ってしまった。

麺は中太麺でスープは濃厚そう。メンマはけっこう太い。食べるときは繊維にそって歯を食い込ませたほうがいいだろう。

まずはスープを一口。

一言でいうと美味

魚介豚骨のスープは魚介の臭みがまったくない。味は濃厚で品がある。

スープが濃厚だから中太麺がちょうどよい。チャーシューも美味しい。

こしょう、七味はいれないほうがいい。品があり深みがあるスープなので入れると味が台無しになるとおもう。

まとめ

ラーメン「渡なべ」は私が苦手なタイプの魚介系ではなく、とってもおいしくてまた食べにいこうと思いました。

今度はつけ麺を注文しようと思っています。ラーメンがけっこう濃厚だったので、つけ麺はもっと濃厚かもしれません。

あと、チャーシューがとても美味しかったので、チャーシューご飯も食べてみたいです。
